We are an authorized IRS e-file provider: we prepare your return and transmit your federal Form 1040-NR to the IRS electronically. If you do not have an SSN or ITIN yet, this year your return has to be mailed — you get a completed, signature-ready PDF with exact mailing instructions.

Common questions
Usually yes. Most F-1 and J-1 students must file Form 8843 even with zero income, and it is not a tax return — it is a statement about your visa status. We prepare it for you, free.
It is a common and fixable mistake — many international students file a resident Form 1040 by accident. Correcting a return that has already been filed needs a person, so we will put you in touch with a tax professional.
